My Story

Greetings! I’m Amanda Haas, the heart behind Animal Magnetism, and I’ve spent more than 30 years working with animals and helping people build stronger, healthier relationships with their dogs.

My experience extends far beyond traditional dog training. Over the years, I’ve worked in dog training, grooming, animal care, behavior, and community outreach, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the many factors that shape a dog’s behavior and well-being. As an AKC STAR certified professional and Canine Behavior Specialist, I’m passionate about meeting each dog where they are and helping both dogs and their people succeed together.

At Animal Magnetism, I offer more than training. I also provide AKC Canine Good Citizen testing and assessments for various AKC certifications, helping families and their dogs reach new goals while strengthening the bond they share.

My commitment to animals and my community also extends beyond my business. I proudly serve as a certified 4-H youth leader for the Gila County K9 Club, where I have the opportunity to encourage young people to develop confidence, responsibility, and a deeper appreciation for animals. I’m also honored to serve as Board President of the High Desert Humane Society, where I can use my experience and passion to advocate for animals and support the organization’s mission.

Through my work with Canines 4 Christ Ministry, I’ve had the privilege of participating in outreach with certified therapy dogs, and my certification as a Chaplain allows me to bring an additional level of compassion and support to animals and families experiencing crisis and trauma.

I’m also a proud member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), continuing to learn, grow, and stay connected to advancements in the field.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help people better understand their dogs, give dogs the tools they need to thrive, and create a stronger connection between them.

Because when we take the time to understand our animals, we don’t just change their behavior — we change the relationship we share with them.

Welcome to Animal Magnetism. I’m so glad you’re here.
